Went to 1U last Friday with King and Tuck to catch up. Without Jason, Ju and Kat this time round cause they couldn't make it =( Nevertheless, the 3 of us had a great time.

We went to Dave Deli's for lunch. Only I ate because they already filled their stomachs with Bak Kut Teh before coming. We were chatting, laming and cracking up while they "watched" me eat. I tell you, these guys can be comedians. Why don't you 2 go for tryouts eh? =)

After my lunch, we went to The Chocolate Lounge to chat some more. Had a very rich (too rich maybe) chocolate drink. I almost died drinking it after my intake of my lasagna for lunch.
However, I was a contented lil girl when I got home. Forget that I over-indulged that day. I won't be doing this in a very long time, I know.

King has caught the DSLR fever too it seems! Haha. With a D90 in hand taking pictures. Learnt a few new things on how to use some features too. Somehow his D90 looks more appealing than mine, I am yet to find out why.

Xia's "very early" Birthday Present

Today, (if not the most) was one of my embarrassing days. I actually know that Xia's birthday is on the 27th but I had set in my head that her birthday is tomorrow and I bought the cake.
YES, I rushed my mum to get the cake after she fetched me form school today without realizing her birthday is not until another 3 weeks 1 day!! When Xia came in for tuition and asked me what it was while pointing at the box containing her cake I told her it was her early birthday present. She gave me a surprised look and then it hit me at that moment that it's not her birthday tomorrow! At that moment I felt like smacking myself but Xia saved me by thanking us all who shared to buy the cake and said it was ok.

Thanks dear! x) Will wish you again. Happy super early birthday.

Potato Salad

Did some cooking yesterday morning. Prepared everything single-handed, honest! Potato salad and an omelet for myself. I had some fun in the kitchen.

First I did all the cutting. Cut the spring onion and the bacon. Mixed the dressing in a bowl, then boiled my potatoes. Boiling the potatoes was tough for me because I had no experience whatsoever and I didn't have anyone to consult thus, taking me about 30 minutes to just do the potatoes. Later, the bacons[oh-so-yummy!] were cooked. The potatoes were then put into the bowl containing the dressing and stirred with yogurt. Add some lemon juice, bacon and it's ready to go! =)

It was my first time cooking without using any pre-packed stuff so I was a bit lost on what to do, but thankfully I managed it, without any help. Mum said it was good, but I think too much olive oil in my dressing, oops.

Although that was all hard work for me, I was still a satisfied "cook" in the end. I won't be cooking for awhile now, oh wells. Ciaoz the mouse.

Was awaken by a really strong wind when the wind blew all my windows shut with a loud "thud" at 3.30 this morning. It was really scary somehow, the sound was really eerie and I couldn't sleep till 4 a.m. I was lying in my bed that half an hour wondering why was there a sudden strong wind when finally I got the answer to my question. It started raining. You know I though there would be some kinda tornado or some sort. How silly of me. I went back to sleep after that.

Ivan's birthday today, that friend who could not remember my birthday but insisted his to be remembered. What a friend you are. Anyway, blessed 16th you fool =)

June 2009 is coming to an end and I had a blast this whole month! With my birthday and all the other birthdays around. Stupid little surprises and most of all, laughter and cries that will definitely will not be forgotten. Throughout my exam period, it has surprisingly brought my classmates and I closer. I find this odd yet comforting. Funny how people come together under really unusual circumstances sometimes. *big hugs* I wanna hug you girls and squeeze you all tight together until you scream at me for air! x) hehe.

I am back to reading story books again. Can be stuck in my beanbag for hours to just finish one book. I'm no bookworm. Just an eager reader! Just finished Black Book of Secrets by F.E. Higgins 2 Saturdays ago and the Hunger Games yesterday. Next book on my list will be Darkside by Tom Becker. Then perhaps The Shack by William P. Young. Can't wait to finish them. Until then, I won't be here much.

Christian Fellowship Camp

Just camp back from CF camp yesterday. Was great but unfortunately came back with quite a few ulcers and a very tired body. Nevertheless was touched by God! It was held in Seminari Theologi of Malaysia, STM for short. It was an exciting 3days and 2nights with all the other campers. Our Pastor for the camp was Ps. Steven Wong from Segamat. He was great. He brought with him a few of his church members and we definitely gave them a taste of CHS CF didn't we?

Reached our camp site and our room! With luggage, my bag, a guitar and a sleeping bag. I almost died carrying it to the 4th floor.

Treasure Hunt & Dinner

Feeling a wee-bit hyper today. Ok maybe wee-bit is an understatement, so it's VERY hyper. Had a treasure hunt in CA's today. Went to Bangsar for the hunt. I was crazy, that explains me in the picture. We had 10 task to do and we split up so we could finish up more in less time. So Gabriel and I decided to take up the book challenge. Find the book Alchemist and take a picture with it. Hell we got chased out of MPH alright. Apparently there was a "No Photos" in front of MPH. Sorry, I didn't spot it. Gabriel was quite down after that incident. Sigh, don't take it so personally Gab. He said he would never come back to Bangsar Village ever again. I'll see if he really ever won't go back there.

We have the same birthday according to the Chinese calender so we normally celebrate that together. Was really tired from the treasure hunt this afternoon so mostly was on the sofa chatting and watching tv with my cousins. My cousin tried to smear cream on my face from the cake but failed. Slow! I loved the cake ;) and I was blessed with cash again this year.

one - I'm happy.

Let's start off with what I'm happy. Good news then the bad news right? Don't we always?

I just got back my Grade 7 ABRSM theory exam results. Why I'm happy? Because I actually got much more than I ever expected. I was expecting a barely passed but by God's grace and mercy(even my teacher said that), I obtained a Merit!
Okok. Nothing to shout about I know but I just cannot contain my joy so I had to write it out.
Besides that, I just got back my National Postal Bible Knowledge Quiz 2009. Guess what? I got a 76%. It was much better than I expected it to be too. I have been taking it every year since form 1 and I have never gotten this good. Definitely by God's blessing! Amen!

Moving on, it's about some peeps who just won't co-operate. I'm like *ARGH!!!!!! Goodness gracious why do you not get it!* but yet on the outside I'm keeping my coolness. I'm not pointing my fingers so please do not take this personally. Nevertheless, I can't help it if you think I'm talking about you. Oh please kill me because I can't stand this anymore. I'm facing a dilemma, to tell or not to tell, to do or not to do. I don't ask much, just your ears and your co-operation. I beg you, please please please!

Anyway, I found out from Leslie that it was his birthday today so i decided to just get a slice of cake to celebrate with him in tuition with Lee Xia and Leslie (Aha Wei Jun, you missed it! Hello fellow butts! Guess wert? I am in Penang, on me laptop! Reached here at about 7 in the evening last night. Had a sore butt after the 5 hours journey. Haha.

Will be staying in Gurney hotel for another 2 nights. I must say, they suck bad. The hotel room is in pretty bad condition. Gah! BUT I am definitely not here for the luxury, I am here for my cousin's wedding, and of course all the lil babies from Singapore and Shanghai. OH and did I mention, our rooms are facing the sea. Cool eh? The sunrise is just so pretty. Anyway, I have to get ready for lunch. Wil update soon. Tonight perhaps.

Was daddy's birthday on Wednesday and we had a surprise for him. Had an awesome time of fellowship with the neighbours and a few of my relatives too.

Dishes served on Wed. Spaghetti, nasi lemak, gado-gado, mee hoon, sausages, nuggets, popiah, jelly & brownies!

Easter Rally is over. Oh yes it is. It is OVER! The committee has been working very hard to bring you Easter Rally 2009, so... I would like to thank all involved [and definitely those who had had been awake the whole of last night because of nervousness *tsk tsk*] for all the hard work put in. Also not forgetting how God had helped us through this tough time. Much misunderstandings [much much of it!] and also providing strength for those who stayed up late squeezing all their brain juice to think of something up for the rally. Thank you all for being much help in making this year's Easter Rally another success. Everyone plays a role and I would like to introduce our worship team, although the rally is over, but they did play a very important roll and also to show you "the band in the making." Here goes...

Exams are over. *exhales deeply* For now that's less one thing to worry on my list.

On a brighter note, there's a new dog in the house. White fur with brown spots, big round eyes with pink and dotted black paws, Lessie is one adorable thing!

Taken in the garden. She seems so relaxed. =)

On the other hand, I just got my hair cut. With short fringe this time. I always had long fringe and to cut a fringe this short took me a lot of guts! Even my hairstylist asked me twice before she finally cut it. I don't think it's that bad after all but my hair looks really stupid after I wake up from my sleep. Disaster!

Teoh Yee Sook, a son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, as well as a great friend.

He has left us this morning, as most of you already know. I would like to take some time off to dedicate this post to such an awesome friend he was.

He always had a big warm heart for others and a beaming smile that never faded no matter what circumstances he may be. He never failed to put a smile on all our faces and filled us with laughter when we had our regular lunch on Fridays. We will definitely treasure the times we had during all those drama practices as well as all the times we hung out together. You really had a big heart you know. Not wanting us to know if you were getting worse or not, so we would not worry. I know you're not here to read this but you left a legacy, it'll live on. You fought a good fight. We'll always remember you.

A new year means new beginnings. Yeah, I say that every year. Funny how time flies? Soon, Kel will be enrolling into college, I'll be finishing my final 2 years in high school and Jo will be attending high school in 2 years time. We're all growing up so quickly. Pretty soon Kel would be driving already, it's a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is he need not depend on my parents to go everywhere and bad thing is, I will be seeing him less at home.

Indeed it has been an exciting year I must say. It has been a year of learning and growth for me. Through my troubled times, He has indeed been faithful and merciful. He constantly reminds me to be filled with His joy for only joy comes from Him alone. I do look forward to a new year. Christmas Week.

My Christmas week was fun filled with laughter and joy. Particularly because the Singapore family was here for the week. Yes, Elyssa and Shane were over!

Went to the club house on Tuesday with my aunt, mum, Jo, my cousin sister Esther and Elyssa.

We didn't have a play pan at home and Shane was so active so we used what we had. Their personal play pan.

Had a steamboat dinner on Christmas Eve with my family at home. Was pretty awesome.

By now I'm sure all of you know that our PMR results are coming out in 2 days time from today. I'm freaking out. Yes, freaking out. I have been so lost in my holidays that I don't wanna come back to reality. The fact that I am going to take my exam results and that determines what stream I will be going next year, which is only a few days away, is indeed very scary.

I haven't done much during the holidays. Have been very busy shifting house and entertaining my relatives who were over and the house warming party just 2 days ago. I guess it's time to come back from lala land now. Have to start getting into the mood of going back to school. It's back to waking up at 6am every morning for me. How torturous. Oh well.......

Hello, to anyone who reads my blog. First and foremost, I'm really awfully sorry for not updating for the past 1 month. I have been so busy shifting house and I didn't have Internet connection for a solid 2 weeks.

Anyways, was back from youth camp 2 days ago. Fell sick in camp, and am still not feeling well till now. How horrible.

Camp was exciting, but not quite what I expected it to be. The game of life planned out for us was really cool. Sessions by Pastor Jeremy Steward were great! Worship sessions were awesome too. Our meals were not too bad. Accommodation was pretty ok. Aside all that, I know that God's presence was very real in each session and throughout the whole camp.

Went out with the other 5s' today. It was total bliss! The last time we hung out together was 2 years ago! Can you believe it?

We lunched at Shushi Zhan Mai. As usual, Vern was an embarrassment to all of us, which meant fun too. I was once again reminded of how much fun we had when we were still in CW. Our teachers throwing glances at us every time we made too much noise, or when we were directing heaps of questions at teacher. Those were the days man, and today, I felt like I was 12 years old again. You guys are the awesomemest peeps in the world! Though we may grow up and go our separate ways, I hope our friendship would overcome our big differences. I guess without you guys, my CW days would not have been so entertaining and full of laughter. There is nothing more that I could ask when I have you guys by my side. =)

Went to Katrina's house yesterday afternoon to play Guitar Hero on John's PS2. First time playing Guitar Hero and I tell you, it's the awesomest feeling ever! I really enjoyed my few rounds of the game. I'm so gonna convince my mum to buy me one now! Awesome!

Oh butt, I've been stuck with my guitar [it's kel's but he lent it to me so I'll call it mine anyway] since I took it back from the guitar shop. It's a baby Taylor guitar. It's pretty cool actually. Life , so unpredictable.

Not too long ago one of my friend was diagnosed with leukemia. I was devastated when I heard about it. He is only 17 and yet he had to suffer like this.

This made me realised how life can be so unpredictable. One moment you can be that happy & healthy person and before you know it, you're down with this sickness that cannot be cured. I mean, it could happen to anyone of us. It's just so scary even to think about it. Of course I cried and all, but mum told me there is not much I could do. No point crying for him but I could pray for him. I took mum's advice and prayed for him. The doctor said he didn't have long to live, but we all refused to believe so.

Now, he's recovering and is doing very well. He can even jump, or so he says. Now I understand why they say nothing is impossible for God and also how powerful prayers can be. Amen! I believe that it was a miracle.

I'm so glad I learnt something from all this. Always keep an eagle eye out. You might not know you might just learn a valuable lesson the next moment. *winks*

I finally went shopping today. Oh what joy I experienced. I actually do miss people back in Malaysia already. Can't wait to go home tomorrow.

Bought LOADS of fruitips. 33 in total. Call me crazy. I have no idea how I'm going to bring it back either. Why didn't I think of that when I bought it you might ask, well, I totally didn't think of that! Ah well. Bulky hand luggage I guess.

Well, as you all know I am currently in Singapore. Staying in with the Wong Bruhn family. On my nephew's MacBook updating now and you will not believe this, my nephew is only 8 this year and he owns a Mac. Apparently when my cousin subscribed for the internet, they got the Mac for free. How amazing is that? I so wanna migrate here man. First time using a Mac. It's pretty cool.

Was out this morning with the Wong Bruhn family. Went to Jurong East Swimming Arena. It's somehow like a smaller version of our Sunway Lagoon back in PJ. Entry fee is only 2 dollars for adults and 1 dollar for children. It was sunny here today so it was packed with people. Now we're all back at the house. That's pretty much how half my day was.

WOOT!!

As you all know from the title above that I have indeed finished my Penilaian Menengah Rendah, PMR for short. If you have no idea what that is, it's just an exam all Malaysians who are 15 sit, not those who attend international schools mind you, only those in government and private schools.

Anyway, I'm through with any exams now. It's par-tay time! I'm really glad it's over. It's such a relief that I have like at least a few weeks of bumming and fun before mum will start nagging for me to be useful in the house =) oh well, better learn to savour every moment.

I have this weird feeling that I have grown up. Funny but true. I mean, I have finally finished 3 years of high school. That was quick. It felt like just last year, I was only 12. After this year, it's serious business, but I'm sure looking forward to it.

Yes, I admit it's my fault I am not working hard at all for it but I can't bring myself to sit on my chair at my study table for at least 2 hours a day to study. Anyone has a better and more interesting way to study? Anyone? Not even one person? Man, I am so toast!

I have been so busy with everything else but my studies lately and my parents aren't really happy about that [like which parent would] because my PMR is just around the corner.

Have been trying so hard to think of something to write here, and I'm seriously out of juice I tell you. Anyway, we went to Modesto's in Hartamas for lunch few of our church members said it was nice so we went there and here's what we ate..

Mum's food. Some Pizza thing. Mushroom, cheese and tomato puree wrapped in dough. Superb.

My lasagna. Pretty small portion actually. I won't say it's bad, but I have tried better ones.

Kel's potato dumpling. I think it tasted wee bit weird. It's like eating dough with potato flavour in it. Ew.

And because Kel was still hungry, he ordered another pasta. Smoked Salmon. I hate fish. So too bad for me I didn't like it at all.

I didn't take dad's and Jo's because dad's was Kampung Fried Rice [hello?? we're in a western restaurant. can't blame him though, old habits die hard, right?] and Jo was too far away, so yea.

Expecting another visit from the family from south. Can't wait to have Shane back in my arms again! He has grown so so much, and of course he has grown a lot cuter too [so his mum says, my cousin] LoL.

Anyway, been busy with my trials and it's over. Now, the only thing to "look forward" to is my PMR and after that I'm free free free! The carnival is in 2 days time but yet the schedule is not finalised. Goodness. I'm so worried! Help! Feeling so lazy to do the cardboard for the price. Post exam feeling. Haha.. =)

Our youth held an Amazing Race yesterday in Bukit Jalil Park and it was a whole lot of fun and teamwork[and exercise too of course]. We were Team 8! Yes, very lucky. Right. We took like 40 mins to get to our first station? Anyway... Here's OUR TEAM! Donald, Matthew, Me, Joel, Chloe and Kir-Ly! We're one big bunch of nuts la. When we were walking, one of the dudes just started singing, like in the middle of the jungle! Haha... There was much of teamwork in our group and although we did not finish, we know we are still winners, we all are. Of Us.

I must say, I have been absent from my lil bloggie for quite awhile now. Just had not been in the real mood to update it. Plus, my trial is just around the corner, gives me more reason not to use the computer for now.

There was something that really moved me just a few weeks back. A scene to be exact. I was with Gabriel in the 7-9 children's worship and when it came to worship, the children just lifted their hands and lifted their voice. Neither caring about how bad the music sounded, nor how the worship leader was singing. They just poured it all out.

The problem with US is that we grow up, learn how to improve on everything we want to satisfy ourselves that sometimes we forget WHO we worship. The God we worship, He does not care how bad we sound, or how the musicians play, He just wants our heart, to worship Him wholeheartedly. It is not easy, even I can testify to that, but what does the world mean when the world is just His footstool? He does marvelous things everyday, it's just that sometimes you are too preoccupied to ever know it is one.

Sometimes you learn things when you least expect. Always keep an eagle eye out.

First of all, if you know them, one's pure Indian, one's a Chindian and the last one, my youth leader [sadly], is a pure Chinese. The rest, I'll just let the picture speak for itself. I realised that all the friends I hang out with, it's either that nonsense bunch, or that nonsense bunch or the other one... so on... They're really entertaining I must say. This bunch especially. =)

My mum, a decent woman when she's not going around barking at everyone at home. Recently, she has been losing her temper so often that it is so hard to even be at home. It is really unpleasant to be at a home when you always get scolded when you did not do anything wrong. She has been really spoiling every waking moment of my life.

My dad? He, too has been losing his temper very often. Woke up on the wrong side of the bed anyone? But dad, he is still bearable. He jokes sometimes, well, at least he tries even though most of the time, it isn't funny at all.

Kel. You are a pain in my butt, most of the time, but I love you, nevertheless. But do not take advantage of me, there's a limit to everything. Putting these all aside, you are a great brother.

Jo. Small girl. As irritating a girl can get. A girl full of love for people and animals. She's a great girl too.

This is my family. As much as they can torture me, they are still my refuge and where I find hope and peace. Love you all.

I finally finished this book. It is a pretty interesting book. Hard to understand at first but as you read on, you get the the answers to your question at the beginning of the book. You know like putting a puzzle together? Yeah. =) It's a Science fiction. Something about our earthly humans being taken over by these lil "parasites" called souls. These parasites, I prefer calling them this than souls, venture into the galaxy to different planets to find host for them to live. They would die without a host. So this story goes on about a girl by the name of Melanie, one of the remaining human kind that is not being a host for those parasites, whom got caught by them. The parasite that invaded Melanie's body was Wanderer. They became allies and set on a journey to find the man they loved, and a boy they would guard with their own life. Hope you would go pick this book out in the bookstores. Its a good read.

Loads of stuffs has been on lately and I have been a wee bit too busy and uninspired to blog here. Well, there was my bbq party. Was not too bad. Had my cousin and her family visiting from Singapore who came. She enjoyed herself, so did the rest of the nonsense bunch who came. I even got a pleasant surprise, from the youth fellas that Saturday. Thanks once again, and Eric Marc, I knew you were lying to me. You're no good at lying to me! Haha..

Went out with another bunch of nonsense girls too. We started off in school. Taking the bus to Mid Valley. Was a good trip indeed. Dined in Cora. The food was great but the company that was there was far more greater than the food. I cannot deny that.

Yes! Indeed I am officially 15 years old! 3 days ago actually. Just didn't have the time to post it. Thank you for all the wishes from everyone, really appreciate all of it! Thank you for the surprises you all planned for me, especially Ben Ong who is currently in US who took the trouble to make many calls back just to plan a surprise for me. Thank you!!!!!

That night was such an eye opening event, for me at least. Never have I seen so many people gathered together in one place so passionate for God. Well, there were our youth concerts but this was different. My tick was worth paying after all.

Will tell you all about the concert when you get home Ben. Compliments for not coming back early. =P will torture you as much as I can when you come home.

It's so boring at home. Kel's not in, Jo's not in, mum's out, dad's out. Argh! I'm home alone! Ok fine, I must admit I LIKED it when I as home alone last week but there was something to look forward to. Now, the only thing I can look forward to is my books. Which is not exactly interesting at all. At least there's Hillsong United to look forward to right now. Can't wait! Kel's coming home tonight. Woohoo!
